Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) wants you to know that your feedback matters. This is a breath of fresh air in today’s day and age with most companies doing their own thing, not really listening to consumers.
Here is a recent blog post on the official Microsoft Xbox One website that is worth reading: Your Feedback Matters – Update on Xbox One
While many people were happy with the first batch of details to be released regarding the new Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) Xbox One, others were hoping that some changes would be made.
Here is what the blog post had to say:
“Since unveiling our plans for Xbox One, my team and I have heard directly from many of you, read your comments and listened to your feedback. I would like to take the opportunity today to thank you for your assistance in helping us to reshape the future of Xbox One. “
Before we go any further, it is important to note that this is something other tech companies could learn from. Take a look at that quote. It shows that Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) truly cares about its customers. While some companies say they care, they don’t do anything to prove this to be true.
After gathering feedback, the Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) Xbox One team has rolled out a few updates that are sure to make the gaming experience even more enjoyable:
“An internet connection will not be required to play offline Xbox One games – After a one-time system set-up with a new Xbox One, you can play any disc based game without ever connecting online again. There is no 24 hour connection requirement and you can take your Xbox One anywhere you want and play your games, just like on Xbox 360.
Trade-in, lend, resell, gift, and rent disc based games just like you do today – There will be no limitations to using and sharing games, it will work just as it does today on Xbox 360.”
These changes were being called for by many, and Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) stepped in to make things right.
If the company continues to operate this way as Xbox One gets ready for release, it is safe to say that the gaming console will be just as popular, if not more so, than its predecessor – and that is saying a lot.
