Ingersoll Rand Inc. (NYSE:IR) has acquired Lead Fluid (Baoding) Intelligent Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd., reinforcing its strategy of driving growth within local regions.

Lead Fluid, based in China, specializes in high-precision fluid-handling equipment, such as peristaltic, syringe, and gear pumps, used in life sciences where accurate fluid control and sterile conditions are essential. The company’s annual revenue is approximately $8 million.

Vicente Reynal, chairman and chief executive officer of Ingersoll Rand Inc. (NYSE:IR), made the following comment:

“As we continue to execute bolt-on acquisitions that further our in-region, for-region strategy, Lead Fluid is a leading domestic brand with an excellent reputation. This acquisition demonstrates our ability to work directly with family founders to add leading companies to Ingersoll Rand. We look forward to strengthening our life science capabilities in China and the overall durability of our portfolio by increasing our exposure to this high-growth, sustainable end market.”

Ingersoll Rand Inc. (NYSE:IR) is a North Carolina-based multinational company that was formed in 2020 through a merger with Gardner Denver. The company focuses on flow creation and industrial solutions. Lead Fluid will now operate under Ingersoll Rand’s Life Sciences platform within its Precision and Science Technologies (P&ST) division.
