On May 30, Infosys BPM, the business process management arm of Infosys Limited (NYSE:INFY), revealed its AI agents to enhance its accounting and finance services.

Infosys BPM’s latest AI agents will improve invoice processing within its flagship Infosys Accounts Payable on Cloud solution. The AI agents will be powered by Infosys Topaz, revolutionazing the invoice processing from a human-driven, AI-supported model to an autonomous AI-first method. This autonomous AI-first model will ensure higher efficiency and precision.

The company built the Agentic AI solution for invoice processing in partnership with over 2,600 Americana restaurants across the Middle East, North Africa, and Kazakhstan. The AI agents have advanced decision-making capabilities, which will allow them to handle complex business scenarios with accuracy and speed. The AI agents will be able to adapt to changing business logic and perform intricate tasks with minimal human supervision. This will allow businesses to grow quickly and effectively. Infosys’ AI agents are powered by Microsoft’s AI stack, which combines the cognitive services with Azure’s Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS).
