Paul Hudson

Paul Hudson founded Greenwich Connecticut based Glade Brook Capital Partners in 2011. Paul Hudson previously worked at Chris Shumway‘s hedge fund between 2007 and 2011. According to the firm itself, Glade Brook focuses on “fundamental, research-driven” investments in the tech, media, telecom and consumer sectors. It has less than $1 billion in assets under management, but that’s quite alright with Hudson and his team. The firm closed its doors to new investors in early 2013 with an estimated $476 million in AUM to focus on “growing at a measured pace.”|

Paul Hudson’s Glade Brook Capital returned 13.2% in 2012 and 21% in 2013. Glade Brook is a long short equity fund with a net exposure in the 30-50% range.
