Crucial Growth Credited to Apple Inc. (AAPL), Google Inc (GOOG) Devices

With devices powered by Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) iOS and Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) Android on the rise, it only makes sense that the accessory market for smartphones and tablets is going to follow suit. This is something we have been seeing for quite some time, and it appears that the growth is not going to slow down at any point in the near future.

According to a recent report by Digitimes, accessory manufacturers in Taiwan area dealing with an increase in accessory orders:

Apple Inc. (AAPL)“Taiwan-based handset component makers indicated that they have received increasing orders for accessories used in smartphones and/or tablets from overseas designers and/or trading firms, with Bluetooth keyboards, Bluetooth speakers, NFC (near field communication) devices and wireless power charging devices taking the largest portion.”

It is no surprise that the most popular accessories for Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) and Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) devices, among those from other companies, are associated with Bluetooth and wireless technology. This is the direction in which the market is moving, and there doesn’t appear to be a slow down coming anytime soon.

Here is some more information on the report, explaining why market demand for Bluetooth keyboards is on the rise:

“Market demand for Bluetooth keyboards, for example, is on the rise because the product need not be certified by smartphone or tablet vendors and supports iOS and Android, the sources indicated. Ex-factory prices for a Bluetooth keyboard stand at US$20-30 currently, but retail prices are 3-4 times the level and may exceed US$100, the sources noted.”

This is a huge deal, because the keyboards are supported by Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) iOS and Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) Android but don’t have to be certified by the vendor.

As of late, Taiwan based manufacturers of accessories have received the nod over those based in China. That being said, China is still the leader when it comes to “accessories without technological barriers such as back covers or clamps of smartphones.”

There is no denying the fact that Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) and Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) devices have gone a long way in pushing the accessory market to new heights. The majority of people using a smartphone or tablet are relying on the iOS or Android operating system. For this reason, these two companies will continue to do their part in leading the growth of the accessory market.
