The Texas-based company operates electric arc furnace mini‑mills, scrap recycling facilities, and fabrication plants across the United States, Poland, the UK, Central Europe, and Asia. Its client base is comprised of construction‑related markets, including infrastructure, commercial, industrial, and energy projects.

Following a decline in profitability, reported in the Q3 2025 earnings results, various analysts maintained a hold rating on Commercial Metals Company (NYSE:CMC). For instance, BMO Capital and UBS reiterated their Hold rating on the stock on June 24, 2025. BMO Capital lowered the target price from $57 to $55.
