POSCO (NYSE:PKX) makes and sells steel products. Latest filings show that the fund led by Munger owned 9,745 shares in the company at the end of the fourth quarter of 2021 worth $568,000, representing 0.21% of the portfolio. The fund has neither sold nor bought any shares of the firm during the fourth quarter when compared to filings for the previous quarter. 

On March 21, POSCO (NYSE:PKX) announced that it would be launching a new lithium mining project in Argentina that would cost around $4 billion. The project is estimated to bring in around $260 million per year for the steel firm in the next three decades. 

Among the hedge funds being tracked by Insider Monkey, New York-based investment firm Pzena Investment Management is a leading shareholder in POSCO (NYSE:PKX) with 951,214 shares worth more than $55 million. 

At the end of the fourth quarter of 2021, 13 hedge funds in the database of Insider Monkey held stakes worth $119 million in POSCO (NYSE:PKX), compared to 11 the preceding quarter worth $140 million.
