In August, XPeng Inc. (NYSE:XPEV) made an announcement that is expanding its technical collaboration with the Volkswagen Group beyond electric vehicles to include Volkswagen’s Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) platforms in China.
