CenterPoint Energy, Inc. (NYSE:CNP) will use Convey’s platform to further improve outage restoration updates and pre-weather alerts for its 7 million customers in Texas, Indiana, Ohio, and Minnesota.

Houston-based CenterPoint Energy, Inc. (NYSE:CNP) is a significant gas and electric provider with 8,300 workers and $44 billion in assets. It serves more than 2.8 million homes and businesses in Texas as a regulated TDU. Through scalable communication technologies and smart workflows, this collaboration improves operational agility and trust.

Jason Wells, the CEO, underlined the importance of prompt, reliable communication in emergencies. Maulik Datanwala, CEO of Convey, stressed the partnership as a calculated step to rethink utility-customer interaction.
