The phone maker is once again teaming up with the German carmaker’s design studio to create a premium smartphone. Based on the current Z10 full touch-screen handset, the device, expected to be called the P9982 when it launches sometime next year, has undergone the full Porsche Design treatment That means a subtle angular curve to the base and an edge-to-edge wrapping of the screen bezel. The rear of the device is finished in textured leather for better grip while the font panel’s aluminum appears to be finished in a shade of grey that will be more than familiar to Porsche 911 aficionados.

BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) is expected to launch a high-end BlackBerry Z30 (once named the BlackBerry A10) on the market in the coming months, and in turn, it’s seen plenty of leak action. CrackBerry is the latest to give us a taste, dropping images of the Z30 compared to the BlackBerry Z10 and BlackBerry Q5. According to leaks, the Z30 is expected to have a 5-inch superAMOLED display, 2GB of RAM, dual-core processor, and BlackBerry OS 10.2. The 5-inch display means that BlackBerry can fit an extra row of apps on the homescreen – like Apple did with the iPhone 5.

SMS remains hugely popular within that demographic and BBM offers a comparable, if improved, experience without the expense.

If you sent out an email, instead of being sent through your carrier’s own servers, it went to Blackberry’s. This gave you lightning fast pushed email, something nobody else was able to match. Since BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY)’s own email servers are super secure, it was the device of choice in the business and government sectors. It provided a high level of encryption, and obviously this is important to people because of the entire NSA PRISM scandal. BB10 devices are anything but secure.
