France-based company, The Generation Essentials Group (TGE), is a multinational player in media and hospitality, with assets including L’Officiel, The Art Newspaper, and several entertainment ventures. The merger, jointly supported by AMTD Group and its affiliates, potentially solidifies the company’s global presence. Post-closure, the combined entity will file a Form 8-K with the SEC detailing the shareholder vote results.

The decision, however, follows a period of volatility for Black Spade Acquisition II Co (NASDAQ:BSII) as its stock fell by 5.31% over the past week. The analysts have not released updated ratings or price targets for the company, and its current market cap stands at $187.38 million.
