The updates will be released later this year and include enhancements to what the cards offer in dining, travel, and lifestyle benefits. A major focus of American Express Company (NYSE:AXP) is to meet the evolving needs of customers, specifically those belonging to the Millennial and Gen Z segments. Collectively, the two groups accounted for 35% of total U.S. Consumer spending in the recent quarter.

American Express Company (NYSE:AXP) also intends to update the Business Platinum Card, featuring more benefits to help cardholders in growing their companies. The Business Platinum Cards offer flexible spending limits, virtual cards, and access to cash flow management tools.

American Express Company (NYSE:AXP) is a bank-holding and financial services company that specializes in payment cards. While the stock gained 60% in 2024, its share price has largely remained unchanged in 2025, with a meagre year-to-date decline of 0.12%.
