Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) continues to expand its role in agentic AI through AWS, as enterprises increasingly build autonomous systems on its cloud platform.

On April 28, 2026, one such enterprise, Sage, announced an expanded collaboration with Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN)’s AWS to embed agentic AI across financial workflows for small and medium-sized businesses. That partnership will enable AI agents to automate tasks such as payroll, cash flow management, and compliance by integrating Sage’s AI-powered financial software with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore. The development reinforces AWS’s role as a key infrastructure layer for agentic AI, providing the tools, compute, and infrastructure needed to scale intelligent systems across industries.

AWS’s role in agentic AI was further highlighted on April 20, 2026, when NEURA Robotics announced a strategic collaboration with AWS focused on physical AI. Under the collaboration, AWS will serve as the primary cloud provider for the Neuraverse platform, supporting AI training, real-time data processing, and data sharing across robot fleets.

The Bedrock AgentCore momentum was seen growing in Q1 2026, when the agentic platform’s usage grew 170% quarter-over-quarter. During the same period, Kiro, an agentic coding tool, saw the number of developers more than double from the previous quarter, with enterprise customer usage increasing nearly tenfold.

Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) operates across e-commerce, digital content, advertising, and cloud computing. Its online and offline stores offer both in-house and third-party products, while its Amazon Web Services (AWS) division runs one of the world’s largest data center networks.
