Today, TransDigm Group Incorporated (NYSE:TDG) and Aerosonic Corporation (NYSEAMEX:AIM) said about a merger agreement, under which Aerosonic Corporation (NYSEAMEX:AIM) will become an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of TransDigm, TransDigm said in a statement.
Power One Inc (NASDAQ:PWER) jumped by 56.68% to $6.33 in deals worth $89.3 million. The stock is a volume leader today as well, gaining popularity on the back of the announcement made by Switzerland-based ABB. ABB said in a statement that the boards of directors of ABB and Power One Inc (NASDAQ:PWER) came to an agreement under which ABB will purchase Power-One at $6.35 per share.
Arca Biopharma Inc (NASDAQ:ABIO) advanced by 46.70% to $2.89 in turnover worth $2.2 million. The company today announced about an agreement with Medtronic, Inc. (NYSE:MDT), under which Arca Biopharma Inc (NASDAQ:ABIO) and Medtronic, Inc. (NYSE:MDT) will collaborate on Arca’s proposed clinical trial of its lead drug Gencaro.
Met-Pro Corporation (NYSE:MPR) appreciated by 39.79% to $13.42 in deals worth $1.2 million. In a press release issued today, CECO Environmental Corp. announced about an agreement to purchase Met-Pro Corporation (NYSE:MPR).
India Globalization Capital, Inc. (NYSEAMEX:IGC) grew by 20.31% to $2.17. Earlier, the company stated that the Board of Directors of India Globalization Capital, Inc. (NYSEAMEX:IGC) approved a reverse split of its common stock at a 1-for-10 ratio, commencing in the morning, at the open of the NYSE MKT Exchange on April 19, according to a press release on company’s website.
Donegal Group Inc. (NASDAQ:DGICB) rose by 19.95% to $22.97. Today, Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, rose the target price of Donegal Group Inc. (NASDAQ:DGICB) to $16.00 from $15.00, Zolmax reported quoting AnalystRatings.Net.
