Nokia smartphone Market: Nokia Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:NOK) is doing everything it can to make a comeback and once again reach the top of the smartphone market. This holds true in many of the largest markets in the world, including India (as we discussed earlier this week).
One way the company can begin to make a comeback is by offering new devices that better compete with what is already out there. For instance, many consumers are beginning to wonder what a potential Nokia Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:NOK) Lumia 950 could offer.
While this may be something that is on your mind, it appears that a recent leak has exposed some information pertaining to this device.
Windows Phone Central has posted an image of a prototype Nokia Lumia 950. Whether or not this is the real thing has yet to be seen. That being said, this is more than enough to get people excited about what this model may have to offer.
Here is some more information from Windows Phone Central, detailing potential features:
“Resolution, we’re told, is 1280×768 and there is no planned 1080P support for Windows Phone 8 in the immediate future. Our tipster notes that this is actually a good thing as the main thrust of this device is battery life, something that is backed up the usage of an AMOLED variant of the PureMotion HD panel found in the Lumia 920.”
At this point, there is no way of knowing for sure if the image is accurate. The best thing to do at this point is wait for more information to be released. If this is truly a prototype of the Nokia Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:NOK) Lumia 950, it is safe to say that more information will begin to make its way to the public in the near future.
