Intel Corporation (INTC) Pushes For Internet Of Things With RealSense Technology

Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) is slowly becoming a force to reckon with on the Internet of Things with the development of exciting technology aimed at ensuring swift interconnection of gadgets. During an interview on CNET, CEO Brian Krzanich, reiterated that Intel remained focused on ensuring that the interconnection of gadgets was solely done through the company’s technology more so RealSense processing engine.

“Our simple view is if it is smart and it’s connected. We want to make it run best on Intel, Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC), and that means as everything becomes smart and interconnected, so from the internet of things all the way through servers. As they become smart and interconnected we want to be part of that we want to drive that technology,” said Mr. Krzanich.

RealSense technology is a clear example of Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC)’s desire to ensure commonly used objects are in a position to adapt to the environment. The technology is already being embedded in laptops with a view of changing how people interact with games and apps.

Wearable’s is a space that has been growing in the recent past with many companies thought to be interested in the same. Krzanich was quick to defend Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC)’s efforts in the space that up to now has not seen the release of any product.

Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) has already collaborated with Opening Ceremony in the manufacture of My Intelligent Communication Accessory (MICA). A smart wearable which can be used to display notifications, as well as emails and other alerts in the fields of technology and fashion.

“Our job is to create silicon and technologies that our partners can then go and create and innovate with. You don’t see a lot of products from Intel you see a lot of products powered by Intel in the wearable space,” said Mr. Krzanich.

The CEO was also quick to point out that Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) remained focused on solving the diversity aspect of the company’s employment structure. An area that has been a bone of contention in Silicon Valley in the recent past. Krzanich reiterated that efforts and resources had already been invested in ensuring that the minority, as well as women, remained well represented in the company’s hierarchy.
