It is Texas’ second largest city in terms of population and houses 1.4 million people. San Antonio is also a tourism hub in the U.S., with millions of people visiting the city. It also has a presence of several Fortune 500 companies along with other important financial firms such as Wells Fargo and Citi Bank.

4. Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Oklahoma City is the capital of Oklahoma. It is also the largest city in the state and has a population of almost seven hundred thousand people. The Oklahoma City metropolitan area has a population of 1.38 million people. Oklahoma is home to two Fortune 500 energy companies, and the Federal Aviation Administration is one of the largest employers in the area. It also has a presence of important food, beverage, and industrial companies.

3. Houston, Texas

Houston is part of the Houston-The Woodlands-Sugar Land metropolitan statistical area. It is one of the largest cities in America in terms of population as more than 2.3 million people live within its borders. 2.5 million households were surveyed in the statistical area, out of which a whopping 37% reported signs of cockroaches in the last 12 months, making Houston rank as the number city. However, it ranks quite low in signs of rats or mice. Houston also has a large number of Fortune 500 companies, with most of these in the energy industry.
