According to the Global Bicycle Cities Index, 15 of the top 50 most bike-friendly cities in the world are German. That comes as no surprise since about 70% of the population in Germany bikes regularly. Of them, 19% ride a bike at least once every day, 25% do so a few times every week, while 26% go cycling often in a month.
