Vancouver, Canada-based Canfor Corporation (OTC:CFPZF) is one of the world’s largest producers of lumber, pulp, and paper. The company primarily produces softwood lumber and also owns 54.8% shares of Canfor Pulp Products Inc., a leading producer of pulp and paper.

Canfor Corporation (OTC:CFPZF) produced 1.18 billion board feet of lumber during Q3 2022. On July 28, the company announced plans to invest approximately $210 million to build a new sawmill complex in Alabama with annual production capacity of 250 million board feet. Previously, in March this year, the company had acquired the solid wood operations of Millar Western Forest Products Ltd. for C$420 million, which added 630 million board feet of production capacity to its operations.
