They may be justified in saying so for the reasons listed below. However, this article is not meant to discourage people from visiting these places since, despite their “ugly and depressing” facades, these locations may still have something special to offer. While that is not the focus of this article, we will assess these places based on their ugliness and depressing environment. The essence is that every visit to a place should be soothing, with stunning vistas and uplifting sentiments, rather than the other way around. We would rather not be greeted by an unpleasant environment and leave feeling even more sad.
