Hedge Fund News: Eric Mindich, Steven Cohen, Paul Sinclair
Hedge-fund manager Paul Sinclair is the latest casualty of Europe’s sovereign-debt turmoil, almost six thousand miles away from the epicenter of the crisis.
Paul Sinclair founded Expo Capital Management, a Los Angeles based healthcare focused long/short equity hedge fund. Paul Sinclair previously worked at Merrill Lynch. Sinclair's hedge fund lost about 8.7% in 2011 and around 6% in the first five months of 2012. Overall the fund returned around 50% since 2007. Paul Sinclair announced the liquidation of his fund in June 2012.
