AlarmCom Hldg Inc (NASDAQ:ALRM) went public at a price of $14.00 per share and jumped by more than 20% in Intraday trading. The security company sold a total of 7.0 million shares in its IPO and underwriters could sell an additional 525,000 shares. Alarm.com provides services that allow homeowners and businesses to control their security systems, lights and other devices remotely. According to its S-1 form, the company has around 2.30 million subscribers and generated revenue of $46.01 million in the first three months and a net income of $3.04 million. Similar to the previous newly-public companies, so far none of the large investors disclosed positions in AlarmCom Hldg Inc (NASDAQ:ALRM).

The stock of the $22 million biopharmaceutical company Cleveland BioLabs, Inc. (NASDAQ:CBLI) appreciated only by 4% on Monday, but it is up by over 100% in the last five days. The stock spiked as the company agreed to sell a 61% stake to a Russian venture capitalist, David Davidovich, at $3.87 per share. The deal will allow Cleveland BioLabs, which has been struggling financially, to continue its research and development of a drug that might be able to treat radiation sickness. Among the funds we track, it looks like Jim Simons of Renaissance Technologies could have anticipated a positive outcome for the cash-strapped Cleveland BioLabs, as Renaissance disclosed a new position with 48,300 shares in its latest 13F, while Brian Taylor‘s Pine River Capital Management held 15,000 shares, also a new position. On the other hand, Hal Mintz‘s Sabby Capital closed its stake during the first three months, previously owning 377,200 shares.
