Tesla Motors Inc (TSLA)’s CEO Is Dreaming Big

When it comes to the future, it is safe to say that Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) CEO Elon Musk has big things in store. While nobody knows for sure what Musk is going to pull off next, there is no reason to believe he is dreaming small. Tesla is pushing forward and doing big things, taking its vehicles to streets all over the world (including this country).

In a recent piece published by the Christian Science Monitor, Musk talks about the future and how people may be able to travel at a very high rate of speed. Sounds interesting, right?

Here is a brief excerpt from the piece:

“Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk is throwing his weight behind a ‘Hyperloop’ network of pneumatic tubes that could transport travelers at high speeds along a magnetic-levitation track. The ‘Hyperloop’ could take someone from New York to Los Angeles in 45 minutes and New York to Beijing in just 2 hours, according to the Tesla CEO.”

This is just what you would expect from the Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) CEO. While this idea is nothing new, if Musk gets involved you can be rest assured that he can add value in some way, shape, or form.

After taking a closer look at California’s latest high speed rail project, Musk has realized that it will not only be slow, compared to what it could be, but also very expensive.

The article went on to add the following:

“He has settled on the idea of a network of pneumatic tubes within which travel carriages at high speed along a magnetic-levitation track. His system would be able to take someone from New York to Los Angeles in 45 minutes, and New York to Beijing in just 2 hours.”

Although this may sound a bit ambitious, Elon Musk knows a thing or two about “going big or going home.” Many did not believe that he would be able to have success with Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA), however, the electric car company continues to push forward and change the automotive industry for the better.

When you hear the Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) CEO talk you better listen up. He isn’t just blowing smoke. Sure, this idea would take a long time to implement but it is nice to see that there are still people out there dreaming big.
