Royce & Associates Discloses Moves in Saga Communications, Inc. (SGA), Anaren, Inc. (ANEN) & Others

Chuck Royce‘s fund Royce & Associates has disclosed several moves made in Saga Communications, Inc. (NYSEMKT:SGA), Anaren, Inc. (NASDAQ:ANEN), Mindspeed Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:MSPD), and Cirrus Logic, Inc. (NASDAQ:CRUS). The fund has reported increasing its position in Saga Communications, Inc. (NYSEMKT:SGA). Royce holds 509,505 shares of the company, versus reporting 444,311 shares in its latest 13F. The new stake amasses 10.42% of the company’s Class A common stock.

Royce also disclosed, in another filing with the SEC, closing out its stake in Mindspeed Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:MSPD). According, to the latest 13F, the fund owned almost 1.5 million shares of the company. The sale of stock was made amid the signing of the definitive merger agreement between Mindspeed and M/A-COM Technology Solutions Holdings (NASDAQ:MTSI). M/A-COM offered to pay $5.05 per share of Mindspeed, under the terms of the agreement.

Finally, in Cirrus Logic, Inc. (NASDAQ:CRUS), Royce disclosed holding 6.67 million shares, up from 6.05 million shares held at the end of September. Royce’s stake in the company amasses 10.5% of the company’s stock, and has a value of almost $135 million, at the current price of the company’s stock. Shares of Cirrus Logic, Inc. (NASDAQ:CRUS) lost around 30% since the beginning of the year. Gotham Asset Management, led by Joel Greenblatt, disclosed ownership of 618,200 shares of Cirrus in its latest 13F, the value of the stake amounting to $135.1 million, at the current share price of the company.
