BlackBerry Live Conference: Research In Motion BlackBerry – What’s Next?

BlackBerry Live Conference: With the Research In Motion Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) BlackBerry Live Conference in full swing, there is plenty to talk about.

For example, BlackBerry announced earlier in the week that it will be rolling out its Q5 smartphone in select markets in the near future. Along with this, CEO Thorsten Heins has already taken the stage. And boy did he get the people in the audience excited about the future of Research In Motion Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY).

BlackBerry posted a video this morning, complete with some thoughts on what to expect over the next day as well as what has already happened.

Here is what the host, live from Research In Motion Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) Live had to say:

“Yesterday was the keynote session, three major announcements coming out of the course: BBM channels, the BlackBerry Q5 smartphone, and the big news of the show, BBM on iOS and Android.”

As you can see, Research In Motion Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) did not hold anything back at this year’s Live conference. Instead, the company came out swinging and did its best to excite the entire smartphone market.

Simply announcing a new device, the Q5, would have been enough to get people talking. However, BlackBerry did not stop there. Instead, the company announced that BBM will be available for both iOS and Android.
