PAW Capital’s Top Picks: NQ Mobile Inc. (NQ), Web Com Group Inc. (WWWW) & More

In the current round of 13F filings, hedge funds and other institutional investors are disclosing their equity portfolios as held at the end of the last year. One of those funds is Peter A. Wright’s P.A.W. Capital Corp., which revealed in its latest 13F filing an equity portfolio with a total value of about $111.38 million, compared to about $118.23 million at the end of the third quarter of 2013.

NQ Mobile Inc (ADR) (NYSE:NQ)

We have picked the five largest holdings from the P.A.W. Capital’s equity portfolio, in terms of value, as at the end of last year.

NQ Mobile Inc. (NYSE:NQ) comes in as the first most valuable holding in P.A.W. Capital’s equity portfolio, the position containing 530,000 shares. The fund disclosed a stake of $7.8 million in the company. NQ Mobile Inc. (NYSE: NQ) is a global provider of mobile Internet services. The company recently announced that its gaming subsidiary FL Mobil entered into an agreement with French multinational video game developer and publisher Ubisoft for new game operations.

Web Com Group Inc. (NASDAQ:WWWW) is second on the list. The fund owned 204,000 shares of the company, with a reported value of about $6.5 million by the end of the year. Web Com Group Inc. (NASDAQ:WWWW), which provides Internet services and online marketing solutions for small businesses, announced in late January that it now has more than 50 new domain extensions available for pre-registration and purchase.

Allot Communications Ltd. (NASDAQ:ALLT) is the third on the list. The fund owned 350,000 shares of the company by the end of the year. The fund reported a stake of about $5.3 million in the company.

The fund disclosed the fourth-largest holding in Royal Dutch Shell PLC (NYSE:RDS.A), which amasses 67,200 shares, with a reported value of $4.8 million.

Broadcom Corp. (NASDAQ:BRCM) is the fifth largest holding in which the fund revealed a stake of about $4.4 million. The fund owned 150,000 shares of the company, which is a global innovation leader in semiconductor solutions for wired and wireless communications.

In a statement, Broadcom Corp. (NASDAQ:BRCM) announced that its board of directors approved a 9% increase to the quarterly cash dividend to $0.12 per share, or $0.48 per share on an annual basis, payable to holders of the company’s class A and class B common stock. The dividend will be paid on March 3, 2014, to holders of record at the close of business on February 14, 2014.
