As of late, when it comes to customer service, there is no stopping Research In Motion Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) BlackBerry. The company is well aware it is fighting an uphill battle in an attempt to chase down the top players in the smartphone industry. Rather than give up on consumers and let them figure things out on their own, the company is taking the next step and doing its best to provide a high level of customer service.
This is something we have discussed in the past, most recently in this article: Research In Motion Ltd (BBRY) BlackBerry Attempts to Help its Users
Late yesterday, Research In Motion Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) BlackBerry once again turned to its blog as a means of sharing information, advice, and resources with users.
Here is the setup for the blog post:
“As I’ve been travelling around and meeting people who’ve just got their new BlackBerry Z10 or BlackBerry Q10 smartphone – one question I get asked a lot (other than where can I buy it) is do you have any tips or helpful how-to’s for using the device? The answer, my savvy readers, – is yes, we have a number of resources to help you with your awesome new BlackBerry 10 device.”
It appears that Research In Motion Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) BlackBerry is putting so much time and effort into customer service because they are being asked by a lot of people to provide information on how to use their device.
While there is nothing wrong with what Research In Motion Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) BlackBerry is doing, it does lead to one very important question: is the company’s new operating system and smartphones too complicated for the average person to understand?
This may be why so many are asking for advice.
Regardless, Research In Motion Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) BlackBerry is doing its best to provide a better experience by offering advice through a variety of tools including but not limited to how to videos and “getting started demos.”
If you own a BlackBerry and need help with any aspect of the device, there is a good chance you will be able to find all the information you need from the maker itself. You will not have to search forums or ask others for assistance, and this is often times a good thing.
