Microsoft Surface Pro UK: A couple days ago, we brought you a story about the Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) Surface tablet making its way to Japan. It doesn’t appear that the company is stopping there, now that there are reports of the Surface Pro debuting in the UK in the near future.

Microsoft is one of the hedge fund industry’s most popular stock picks, and it’s always important to pay attention to the smart money (see just why here).

At this point, the software company is not saying exactly when its Surface Pro tablet is going to hit stores in the UK. That being said, they are promising consumers that this will be happening soon.

Here is some more information from the official Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) Surface blog:

“Many people have left comments here on our blog asking about Surface Pro availability in other countries beyond the U.S. and Canada. We are happy to be able to tell you that Surface Pro will be heading to Australia, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, New Zealand and the United Kingdom in the coming months. We will follow-up with another blog post with more details.”

The company is very excited to bring the tablet to other markets. Despite some harsh feedback in the United States, MSFT is likely hoping for a warmer reception in the UK as well as other parts of the world.

Panos Panay, corporate vice president, Microsoft Surface, shared the following in another company blog post:

“We are eager to see people and businesses in more countries get a chance to experience this new category of devices. Surface is the best of a tablet and a PC.”

As excited as people in the UK are right now about the potential to buy a Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) Surface Pro tablet in the near future, the company better speed up. The last thing they want to do is miss out on a potential market because consumers are tired of waiting. This could result in a large group looking elsewhere for a solution.
