Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) is known for doing whatever it takes to stay in touch with its audience. And as you know, the company has a large following that is growing by the day. “On the other side of the world, in Russia, a new batch of winners came out of Imagine Cup 2013. In what could be considered one of the coolest global science fairs ever, tech-savvy students compete in Microsoft Imagine Cup to see who can come up with the most innovative apps, games and other tech projects. Winning projects were announced Thursday as part of $1 million worth of cash and prizes distributed during this year’s competition.”

As you can imagine, this is one of the biggest stories out of the Microsoft camp over the past couple of weeks. It is something the company looks forward to ever year. Along with this, it is also something that participants dream about.

It is hard to imagine an update at this point in which Microsoft doesn’t discuss the new Nokia Lumia 1020, complete with one of the top cameras that the smartphone market has ever seen.

Here is more from the company, touching on the new Windows Phone:

“On Thursday, the Windows Phone family received its newest – and certainly one of its most eye-catching additions: the Nokia Lumia 1020, which boasts a 41-megapixel sensor that can go toe-to-toe with most digital SLRs.”

There is a lot going on at Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) right now, and there is no reason to believe this is going to change anytime soon. Even though this company is often times overlooked, those in the know realize it is worth keeping an eye on.
