A Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT)-BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) combination could make Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) a more substantial player in the smartphone race, the Journal said. But it would also likely create difficulties with Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT)’s current partnership with Nokia Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:NOK), another former cellphone leader, the newspaper said.
