Mark Rachesky Further Increases Stake In Titan International Inc (TWI)

Mark Rachesky is still bullish on Titan International Inc (NYSE:TWI) and has further increased his fund’s activist stake in the company. According to a recent Form 4 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Rachesky’s fund, MHR Fund Management, has acquired 490,775 shares in 9 transactions at prices varying between $14.11 and $14.99 per unit. Following this move, Rachesky and MHR, have amassed 7.5 million shares of Titan International Inc (NYSE:TWI).

Billionaire Ken Griffin is extremely bullish on this stock, having increased his fund’s holding by 41027% during the first quarter of 2014. In its latest 13F filing, Citadel Investment Group reported ownership of approximately 555,200 shares. Robert Rodriguez and Steven Romick, the managers of First Pacific Advisors LLC, are also fans of Titan International Inc (NYSE:TWI), having increased their holding of the stock by 83% to 1.55 million shares. Jay Petschek and Steven Major are not so optimistic and have deemed it wise to reduce their stake in the company. Their fund, Corsair Capital Management, reportedly holds 425,600 shares of Titan International Inc (NYSE:TWI) in its equity portfolio.
