The government may ask Parliament to approve a production sharing agreement (PSA) with Chevron Corporation (NYSE:CVX) after it was rejected by a local council, Energy and Coal Industry Minister Eduard Stavytskiy said Wednesday. The Ivano-Frankivsk regional council voted to Tuesday to reject the PSA amid environmental concerns, a move that is set to further delay the Olesska shale gas project.
