John Paulson Reduces Exposure To CNO Financial Group Inc (CNO)

John Paulson has decided to trim exposure to CNO Financial Group Inc (NYSE:CNO) and has sold some 1.9 million shares. As a result, his fund, Paulson & Co, is left holding 10.5 million shares, which account for approximately 4.7% of the total number of shares outstanding, according to a recent filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Joe Huber, the manager of Huber Capital Management, is a fan of CNO Financial Group Inc (NYSE:CNO) and has increased his fund’s holding by 2% during the first quarter of this year to 14.1 million shares. This position also accounts for 6.72% of Huber Capital’s equity portfolio. Israel Englander is also very bullish on this stock, having increased his fund’s stake by 235% over the same period. In its latest 13F filing, Englander’s fund has reported ownership of 1.06 million shares. Thomas E. Claugus and his fund, GMT Capital, have increased their stake in CNO Financial Group Inc (NYSE:CNO) by 8% to 1.62 million shares, according to the fund’s latest 13F report.
