Let’s see how these companies have performed year-to-date and since the approximate time that the PRISM scandal broke. Is there a correlation in their performance and the PRISM scandal? You tell me.

It appears these companies are actually doing better since the news first broke. My opinion is that there hasn’t been enough time. If you look at comments on articles, people’s profiles on social media sites, and just what some of the American people are saying, there is certainly a negative vibe.

The foolish bottom line

The future may show a much more drastic effect. The question isn’t whether the American people are frustrated, but rather how or if they should avoid these companies moving forward. Is it even possible for people to do this? Maybe not. What is known, however, is that these companies must restore their users confidence and trust.
