Intel Corporation (INTC) Unveils New Smart Car Seat App For Saving Kids Lives: Janette Fennell

Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) has unveiled a new app that sets off an alarm when parents leave their kids behind in hot or cold vehicles; a problem commonly referred Forgotten Baby Syndrome. Fox Business, Gerri Willis, reports that the unveiling of the app comes on the heels of a kid dying in one of Intel’s parking lots attributed to high temperatures in the car.

Intel, is INTC a good stock to buy, Jon Fortt, bull, bear,

“There is an app for everything this days but Intel is developing one that can literally save children’s live. As you know up to 37 kids die every year from heat strokes when parents forget children on the back seat of the car and leave them in there with the windows rolled up. New technology is trying to change all that,” said Mrs. Willis.

Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) new app comes with a smart clip that replaces the normal chest clip in car seats. Allowing parents to be notified as soon as they walk a certain distance from their cars while leaving a kid trapped inside. KidsAndCars.org president, Janette Fennell, believes this is another brilliant idea from the giant chip company as more attention continues to be paid on the Forgotten Baby Syndrome.

Most of the deaths have mostly been attributed to the fact that by law, kids are only required to travel while on the back seat of cars. A phenomenon that has seen many parents accidentally forget them, when they get out, to go and get something.

Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC)’s new app allows parents to see whether the smart clip is connected using their smartphones while also monitoring temperature levels in the car. The new app will not only be of help during the hot season, but also during cold seasons according to Mrs. Fennell.

“A car is like a greenhouse, it is full of glass and all of the heat comes in through that glass and it has nowhere to go. So it penetrates, and temperatures rise very quickly as much as twenty degrees in ten minutes, that is a pretty big jump,” said Mrs. Fennell.

Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) will be competing against Small One’s Safety system that alerts parents of the presence of a kid in the car on arriving at a given destinations.
