Coincidentally this is the camera maker’s first deal with a professional league like NHL. With such a big deal the stock has to see a upside movement and as expected GoPro Inc (NASDAQ:GPRO) shares went up by more than 8% on Friday following the news about the partnership. NHL will be utilizing GoPro Inc (NASDAQ:GPRO) cameras to get better viewing experience to the fans. First of all, these cameras was tested in Saturday night skills competition and subsequently it will also be used in Sunday All Stars game. How the GoPro Inc (NASDAQ:GPRO) cameras will be used during the regular season is still an unanswered question.

GoPro Inc (NASDAQ:GPRO) had a scintillating debut in June 2014 following which the stock grew by more than 150% in 2014. But it started dropping since the beginning of this year and dropped 23% so far.
