Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) has announced earlier today about some new technology that would make the Television Ads behave more like the internet ads. Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) is currently planning to test this technology out in Kansas City using the Google Fiber. There are many questions hovering around. How Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL)can change TV Ads to behave more like internet ads? Why is Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) trying to change the looks of TV Ads and what can they possibly achieve from this? Prospero discussed on what he thinks about this technology and how Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) and possibly other can benefit from it.

“[…] Basically, when you go on the internet and you start browsing the web, that ads that you see are based on what you are reading. So, much like that the ad on Google Fiber, the ads that you see on TV are going to be based on what you have been watching,” Prospero said.

He added that this could benefit the advertisers a lot. He thinks that the advertisements are going to reach the people who are interested in buying the respective products. He pointed out that consumers could also benefit from it, by avoiding all the unwanted rubbish ads that they are not interested in.

Prospero thinks that other companies need to start thinking about this. He feels that this will be a big revenue generator in the future for Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) and other cable companies if they concur with Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL)  and proceed in the same way.

Prospero thinks that this could potentially disrupt the traditional advertisements. He said that Google Fiber is currently available in smaller number of homes and in order to use this technology, Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL)’s hardware has to be licensed by other cable companies. So if that happens he thinks that this can disrupt the traditional advertisements.
