Google Inc (GOOG): Even Its Mobile OS is Getting Stink Eye from the EU

EU regulators have sent out a list of 82 questions to various manufacturers and others requesting information about Android practices. About 14 companies, including Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT), lodged complaints against Google’s practices back in April, and this questionnaire is the first step toward determining whether a formal investigation will commence.

In response, Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) said in a statement, “Android is an open platform that fosters competition. Handset makers, carriers and consumers can decide how to use Android, including which applications they want to use.” What do you think? Do you call horse-hockey on the EU or on Google?
