Worldwide IT spending in 2013 is expected to top $3.8 trillion and is expected to almost hit $4 trillion by 2014. As we’re seeing IT outlays increase, this means older storage solutions will be replaced. Increasingly, those systems will encompass solid-state as pricing comes down. Investing in companies that develop and manufacture this hardware component should lead to major benefits in the future. This is especially true when you consider that eventually all storage technology will encompass solid-state as its foundation.
