Opko Health Inc. (NYSE:OPK) is a $3.65 billion market cap medication and medical testing company. On October 2, Opko Health Inc. (NYSE:OPK)’s CEO & Chairman, M.D. Phillip Frost directly and through Trust Investments Gamma Frost bought 35,000 shares of the company in several tranches in the prince range of $8.25-$8.36 per share. Including this purchase, Frost directly and through Trust Investments Gamma Frost now owns a total of 143,332,308 shares of Opko Health Inc. (NYSE:OPK). The company currently operates in Israel, Spain, Uruguay, Chile, US and Mexico. The company  acquired Laboratorio Arama de Uruguay recently and is seeking to expand its presence in Argentina and Uruguay. Based on last fiscal year results, Opko Health Inc. (NYSE:OPK) has a negative EPS of $0.38 and 19% of it is owned by institutional investors. Hedge fund legend George Soros is also bullish on this company, his firm, Soros Fund Management, owns 235,600 shares of Opko Health Inc. (NYSE:OPK) as of June 30, 2014.

AGCO Corporation (NYSE:AGCO) is a $4.30 billion market cap agriculture equipment manufacturing company. Between September 26 and October 1, Mallika Srinivasan, a director at AGCO Corporation (NYSE:AGCO), through Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited (“TAFE”) and TAFE Motors and Tractors Limited (“TMTL”) bought 1,273,126 shares of the company in a price range of $45.44 – $46.49 per share. With this purchase, Srinivasan now owns 6,570,076 shares of AGCO Corporation (NYSE:AGCO). The company distributes its products, which include tractors, hay tools, sprayers and others, in over 140 countries across the globe through its network of 3,100 independent dealers. Based on last fiscal year results, AGCO Corporation (NYSE:AGCO) has an EPS of $5.47 and currently trades at 8.48 times price versus earnings. Ken Griffin’s Citadel Investment Group is also a major investor in AGCO Corporation (NYSE:AGCO), as of June 30, 2014, the firm owns 567,141 shares of the company.
