PayPal plans to capitalize on the virtualization of offline transactions by partnering with well-known payment processors such as Discover, Visa, and MasterCard. Movie studios and broadcasters understand people consume media in new ways, such as the video streaming service that Netflix offers, and they want to partner with it to distribute their content.
