Christopher Shackelton and Adam Gray, the managers of Coliseum Capital have started offloading Accuride Corporation (NYSE:ACW) shares. According to a recent Form 4 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Coliseum has sold 264,596 shares in three transactions at prices between $5.12 and $5.18 per unit. Following this move, the fund is left holding 7.7 million shares. Towards the end of 2013, Coliseum had built a massive position in Accuride Corporation (NYSE:ACW), amassing 8.22 million shares, making this their third largest equity position.
Accuride Corporation (NYSE:ACW) has also caught the attention of Chuck Royce, the manager of Royce & Associates. During the first quarter of 2014, Royce has boosted his fund’s stake in the company by 31% to 1.8 million shares. James Dinan is also keeping a close eye on this stock, with his fund, York Capital Management, holding 750,000 shares. Peter Schliemann and his fund, Rutabaga Capital Management, also hold a significant position in Accuride Corporation (NYSE:ACW) – 2.39 million shares, down 4% during the first quarter.
