The bottom line

The sale of Best Buy Co., Inc. (NYSE:BBY) Europe is a good thing, freeing up money for use in the US and getting rid of a division that produced no real profits. The company is becoming leaner and simpler, cutting costs where it can, and the momentum is clearly building. The stock, after reaching a low of $11.20 per share at the end of last year, is now up over 130% from that low. And even after that gain, Best Buy is still a good bet.
