Oil States International, Inc. (NYSE:OIS) is the second biggest position in the fund’s equity portfolio. The fund owns 6.12 million shares of the company, with a reported value of $622.62 million. The fund increased its position in the stock by 669,947 shares from a quarter earlier. Oil States International, Inc.(NYSE:OIS) provides specialty products and services to the oil and gas drilling and production companies worldwide.

Equinix Inc (NASDAQ:EQIX) represents the third largest position in Jana Partner’s equity portfolio. The fund owns 3.01 million shares of the company, worth $534.16 million. The company operates in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia. The company’s services include protection and connection of the information assets used by enterprises, financial services companies, and content providers.

On the next position is Walgreen Company (NYSE:WAG). Jana Partners owns 7.34 million shares of the company, with a reported value of $422.03 million. The company operates drug stores; and provides consumer goods and services in the Unites States. Jana Partners increased its position in Walgreen Company (NYSE:WAG) by 6 million shares from a quarter earlier.

QEP Resources Inc (NYSE:QEP) represents the fifth largest position in the fund’s equity portfolio. The fund owns 13.77 million shares, with a reported value of $421.9 million. The fund increased its position in the company by 5 million shares from a quarter earlier. The company operates as an independent oil and natural gas exploration and production company.
