Apple Inc. (AAPL) Watch Counterfeit By Chinese Hyperdon For Just $27, Why Is It Happening?

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is very excited about the launch of its smart watch product in 2015, which many predict that will hit the markets in March. But a Chinese company Hyperdon has launched its smartwatch in the recently concluded Consumer Electronics Show (CES). But the most surprising fact is that the Hyperdon’s smartwatch displayed staggering similarity to Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s Watch in its looks and display icons. Political Prospect Editor Kayleigh McEnany talked with FBN’s Neil Cavuto, Liz MacDonald and Tracy Byrnes about this story on Fox Business.

Apple, is AAPL a good stock to buy, Niel Cybart, iPhone 6,

Cavuto reported that some journalists already got hands on the brand new Hyperdon smart watch in a Mashable event, which costs only $27. McEnany said that America is well known for its innovation but Chinese steal that innovation from the country mainly due to America’s free market nature.

“America is the greatest innovator in the world and there is a reason for that. We embrace the free market system, we embrace the creativity and they copy us. Because we know it that China can’t do innovation and let us be real, they stifle creation. A word of caution though, United States need to realize that we are where we are because of the free market system,” McEnany said.

Byrnes said that China is doing forgery by coming to the event conducted by United States and copying the products of an American company. MacDonald said that Chinese company has not only mimicked the Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) watch, but are also planning to sell it back to America for a very cheap rate.

But the Hyperdon smartwatch is expected to have some limited functionalities, when compared Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s smartwatch. Will this Chinese product eat away market from Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) or will it not make a big impact in spite of its very cheap price tag.
