Apple Vs Samsung: Apple Not Backing Down From Samsung

Apple Vs Samsung: In today’s day and age, it seems as if every company is a rival of Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL). It probably feels this way because Cupertino is involved in a variety of industries.

While many companies are taking aim at Apple, there is one that has been a thorn in its side over the past few years: Samsung.

Apple Inc. (AAPL) to be Added to Several WisdomTree ETFsApple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) and Samsung are slugging it out for top honors in many markets, from smartphones to tablets. Along with this, the two companies have been battling in court rooms throughout the world.

Making things even more complicated is the fact that Apple relies on Samsung to supply parts for some of its most popular devices. While this working relationship is heading out the door at some point in the near future, it is still interesting to see that the two companies were once able to work together so closely.

With all this in mind, it is important to note that the rivalry between Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) and Samsung is nothing personal. When it comes down to it, you have two companies that are doing their best to rise to the top. Both want to dominate the smartphone market. Both want to capture more market share in almost every corner of the world imaginable.

Bloomberg Businessweek’s Sam Grobart recently discussed the Apple vs. Samsung battle in a segment for Bloomberg television. While we won’t get into the finer details of similar battles, Grobart doesn’t want us to overlook the classic: Coke vs. Pepsi.

Here is what Grobart had to say:

“What has been a multi-billion dollar, multi-continent battle royale, as Apple and Samsung continue to slug it out with fuselage of lawsuits, injunctions, and ad campaigns.”

As you will see on the full video on the next page, Grobart is passionate about diagraming the battle between Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) and Samsung.

In addition to what we noted above, Grobart made a good point in touching on the ad campaign battle ground. After all, this is how both tech companies get their message out to the public. It basically comes down to this: which company is going to outdo the other?

Along with Coke and Pepsi, Grobart compares this competition to others including Adidas vs. Puma and HP vs. Oracle.

Just when you think one company is pulling away, the other one makes a comeback. This is why Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) truly considers Samsung its number one rival.
