Apple iTV Features: Apple ‘iTV’ May Offer More Features Than You Could Ever Dream Of

Apple iTV Features: Despite all the rumors regarding the potential release of an Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) television, nothing concrete has been announced by the Cupertino-based company just yet. From a release date to features, consumers are left wondering if this is a product the company is seriously considering.

Apple Inc. (AAPL) to be Added to Several WisdomTree ETFsAccording to Brian White of Topeka Capital Markets, Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) may be closer than ever to moving forward on this idea. Even more so, it appears that the company may be adding some cool features that were not expected.

AppleInsider.com recently took a closer look at what White had to say in a research note published by White. He believes that Apple is going to “launch a full-blown television set in the later part of 2013.”

All of this information comes from White after having the chance to meet with suppliers in both China and Taiwan.

While this is exciting enough, it is the “iRing” feature that is going to have people talking, especially Apple optimists. This feature, as described by White, is not something that has been discussed in the past.

It appears that this ring will act as a “navigation pointer” for the Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) television, allowing the user to rely on this as opposed to a more traditional remote control. How cool is that? There is no denying that this feature could revolutionize the way people watch television.

Here is what White wrote in the note, touching on the fact that a mini iTV could also come to market:

“Essentially, we believe the ‘mini iTV’ screens will be able to capture content from the 60-inch ‘iTV’ across a distance of up to 200 meters, allowing a user to view ‘iTV’ content in the kitchen, washroom, garage, bedroom, backyard, etc.”

White believes that the television and accessories could be priced between $1,500 and $2,500. He is expecting Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) to offer several sizes, ranging from 50 to 60 inches.
