Apple iPhone Brazil: Apple Brings Early Christmas to Brazil Consumers

Apple iPhone Brazil: If you live in Brazil, it is time to thank Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) for bringing an early Christmas. It is being reported by multiple outlets, initially O Globo, that the Cupertino-based company has slashed prices on its iPhone 4 and 4S models in Apple iPhone Brazil:. While this may not do much for people in other parts of the world, it is sure to bring a smile to the face of many people in this country.

A Leading Company Cheaper Than 90% Of Blue Chips... And It Recently Bounced 12%Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is actually the smart money’s second favorite publicly traded company but hedge funds have started dumping Apple in favor of a surprising financial stock (see which stock hedge funds are buying like crazy).

Before we go any further, let’s take a closer look at why Apple Inc. may have made this decision. First and foremost, it is important to note that Brazil is by far the largest market in Latin America. With this in mind, it only makes sense for Apple to do its best in growing its market share.

Both models received a price cut of R$ 400 or $198. This means that the iPhone 4 8GB model has a price of $544, while the 4S 16GB comes in at $840.

Just the same as other parts of the world, including China, Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) gives consumers the option to purchase their smartphone with monthly installments as opposed to one upfront fee.

There may be one other reason why the company decided to lower prices on these two models. This will allow the two phones to better compete with those from Samsung and Motorola. With so much competition in the Brazilian market, it is important for the company to make its offerings as competitively priced as possible.

Despite the fact that Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) may not yet have a stronghold on this market, the company is trying hard to get things moving in the right direction. Obviously, a lower price is a great start. If nothing else, this will catch the eye of every consumer in the market for a new device.
