Low Cost Apple iPhone: Another Image To Add To The Memory Bank

Low Cost Apple iPhone: Is the rumor of a cheaper Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone ever going to die? Just when it seems that people are tired of talking about this, another supplier is able to drum up interest once again.

One thing is for sure: every time a rumor regarding a cheaper iPhone begins to swirl, people get excited. For this reason, it is easy to see that Apple fans are interested in what this device could offer.

Apple Inc (AAPL)Today, we have some more news on a potential low cost Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone.

It appears that Pegatron, one of the many companies that work on the iPhone, is going to increase its workforce by up to 40 percent in the second quarter of 2013. With a staff of 100,000 right now, this would mean another 40,000 people coming on board in the near future.

With this in mind, the question remains: why would the Taiwanese electronics manufacturer need to hire so many new employees right now?

As you can imagine, this has forced many to believe that they are boosting its employee count to get ready for production of a cheaper Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone.

While this does make sense, it is important to note that Apple is not saying at word. If this a project the Cupertino based company is working on, it has not led consumers on just yet.

And just when you think that there is no more information out there to fuel the fire, Tactus releases photos of a “new budget iPhone.”

As always, it is a challenge to determine if these leaked photos are accurate or if they have come from a source that is trying to do nothing more than stir the pot. Either way, it is enough to get people talking.

On the next page, you can see the image in its entirety. Here is a description from Tactus:

“It looks like it features an all uniform plastic polycarbonate shell – very different to the iPhone 5′s sleek aluminum look, but still modern and covetable.”

If Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) plans on selling this type of phone for less than its standard model, it is safe to say that the material is going to be cheaper. There is no two ways about it.

Once again, the rumors are swirling and people are beginning to wonder if 2013 is the year of the cheaper iPhone.
