According to a 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Barry Rosenstein’s Jana Partners reported ownership of almost 6.5 million shares of Oil States International, Inc. (NYSE:OIS), including options to acquire one million shares. In this way, at the current price of the company’s stock, the value of the firm’s stake in Oil States International amounts to $609.6 million (including the option contracts).
